Eight Bit Studios art direction and UX work

The concept was a simple puzzle game to connect a home with fast internet. As the player complete the connection by placing the correct tiles in the empty squares, the scene would start to change from a mundane household setting into something beyond belief——because that is how good the internet connection was. One minute you’re playing a zombie shooter video game, and the next there are zombies invading your home! This my first crack at a site map, a user flows, wireframes, and art direction. It was a decent learning in experience in communicating a concept to clients, development, and contractors.

The UI design, game board, and background setting were my responsibility. Merging the aesthetics from the company branding and the illustration style we picked resulted in an interesting harmony.
