The first step in this project was an analysis of what our members’ data looked like. What data did we have? what data was true and accurate for all members? What did an average member look like? What did a member look like just before they became an edge case? The second step was to ask users how they identified claims, and what information was important to them. In user testing we sought to learn what level of detail was appropriate at each layer in the information architecture.
